We carry the highly trusted and top quality range of Quickstep Readyflor and Embeltons engineered timber floating floors. This large range is made with the finest Australian and overseas hardwood timbers using environmentally friendly resources. The board is engineered in layers – 4mm solid hardwood top layer, 8mm solid hardwood core and a 2mm timber bottom layer ensuring optimal dimensional stability. Quickstep Readyflor and Embeltons Engineered Timber are a floating floor construction, meaning the floorboards or panels lock together securely with the patented Uniclic profile to form a platform that simply sits over a sub floor under its own weight without the use of adhesive or nails.
Quickstep Readyflor and Embeltons Engineered Timber is factory pre-finished with 7 coats of tough S.R.T. UV cured, German made, urethane coatings, giving maximum resistance to wear and tear. Engineered timber can be re-sanded and re-finished as necessary, in the same way as traditional solid timber.
A special closed cell 2mm foam underlay is laid under the floating floor which helps absorbs sound and softens the feel to walk on. Quietstep acoustic underlay is also available which reduces sound even more.
Quickstep Readyflor is an innovative flooring solution that is backed by a Lifetime Structural Warranty. Embeltons has a 25 year Structural Warranty.
