Our Bamboo Flooring is a solid plank construction, unlike engineered floating flooring that is made up of layers. It is pre-finished using 11 coats of the highest quality European UV cured durable urethane and can be re-sanded and re-finished like traditional solid timber when needed.
Our Bamboo Flooring is sourced from environmentally friendly and rapidly growing, fully sustainable plantation bamboo forests. Its unique appearance, stability and durability ensure bamboo flooring a place amongst the worlds select hardwoods.
Construction of Bamboo Flooring
Bamboo flooring is constructed by a solid strand woven technique from fully sustainable plantation bamboo and compressed under extreme pressure, resulting in a solid plank of bamboo flooring with the highest hardness rating of all timber. Its hardness rating of 15 indicates tremendous durability – nearly twice as hard as Jarrah. Our ARC Bamboo Flooring is very stable and virtually termite resistant.
Installation
Our solid Bamboo is a floating floor product utilising the renowned ‘Uniclic’ profile. Bamboo floors can be installed directly over concrete, particle board, plywood or existing timber floors. As it is pre-finished, your new bamboo floor is conveniently installed ready for use.
